National juried exhibition featuring the best in college ceramics. This exhibition is a showcase of original ceramic work from emerging artists currently enrolled in a college program and alumni within two years of graduation. Work submitted may be functional or sculptural.

History in the Making | September 2013
National juried exhibition featuring original works in traditional and contemporary ceramics that incorporate historically-based design elements, themes, materials, or applications in the creation of the work. “Historical” may be interpreted as a significant trend or tradition that is 25 years or older.

Exhibition Proposals | 2013–2014
The Firehouse Gallery is currently accepting proposals for solo and group exhibitions for its 2013–2014 gallery calendar. All ceramic-based work will be considered, mixed-media work must be predominantly ceramic. Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis.

- A cd with 15-20 images of recent work. (300dpi jpeg)
- Hardcopy of image descriptions including: size, materials, titles
- CV/Resume
- Artist statement
- Letter of intent

Artist in Residence Program | 2013–2014
A year-long residency program in a community ceramics studio in Rochester, NY. Residents are given materials at cost, and free firing, as well as studio space and 24/7 access. The Residents agree to a combined 15 hours of studio/gallery/teaching per week.
The residency begins September, 2013 and runs through August, 2014. Applicants are juried by a staff panel and emphasis is put on the portfolio’s quality of work and the candidates expressed desire to be a part of a community studio. There is no bias or preference for functional work over sculptural or vice-versa.
