Catalog of Ancient Technology:
Youth Learning options at the Genesee Center for the Arts & Education
Who we are:
At the Genesee Center for the Arts & Education, we believe that a positive art experience can change a person's life. And we believe that the earlier this enrichment begins, the better the outcome for a lifelong love of the arts. There are numerous studies corroborating the fact that children who are exposed to art within their curriculum perform better in all other subjects. Art is a catalyst for learning! Our areas of expertise are printing, paper making, and ceramic art; all have long and rich histories. Our hands-on activities are designed to be fun and educational.
All of the material in the Catalog of Ancient Technology can be adapted to be age-appropriate, from 3rd grade through high school. Anything designated with an asterisk is lecture only; the rest are hands-on experiences.
Pricing:
$8/hr per student for lectures and demonstrations
$12/hr per student for hands-on activities. We have a minimum limit of 12 students.
