Creativity in the Darkroom
Experiment! Explore! Challenge the tradition of photography through fine-art techniques and alternative image creation. Create a variety of photographs using techniques such as hand coating paper with liquid light, pinhole photography, photograms, photomontage and negative manipulations. Classroom discussions, instructor demonstrations, and time to experiment are all included. This is not a class to learn to print in the traditional sense but a class to open up a whole new world of darkroom possibilities.
Prior darkroom experience helpful but not necessary. Bring your own black & white negatives, or use those provided by the instructor.
