Contemporary Photography
For the past 30 years photography has undergone many spectacular changes: a shift from black and white to color, from 8x10 to wall-size prints, from film to digital; it has triumphantly entered higher education, and the fine-art market, and finally it has undergone a digital revolution. This presentation will examine the consequences of such changes on the production of photographs, on the evolution in photographic subjects, contents and aesthetics along with viewing the work of key photographers.
